"A warm and welcoming eyelash salon featuring 'sustainable materials' and an L-shaped counter."

VIFLA is an eyelash salon project located near Isehara Station in Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The owner requested an open space that uses natural materials and provides high-quality service, while ensuring that social distancing could be maintained in the treatment areas.

We divided the waiting and treatment areas to meet both performance and design requirements. The treatment spaces and powder corner were positioned as close to the windows as possible, with low partition walls to create an open environment while maintaining individual privacy.

Wood, a natural resource in Isehara City, was used as the main material. It was applied to the reception counter, perforated panels with an "open" design, and continuous vertical elements to contrast the inorganic materials and bring warmth and accent to the space.

Although the salon opened during the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope it will become a place that leads the beauty industry in Isehara and continues to be supported as a "lifestyle salon" for years to come.
